Ultra 60: PCI SERR on boot

I replaced the PCI fan on an Ultra 60 (450MHz), 512MB mem, 2 internal SCSI disks, CDROM, SunPCI 400 MHz card, and now it won't boot. I get the following error:

Rebooting with command: boot

I run obdiag/obest for all available tests and no errors were found!

I cannot boot this machine at all. I tried booting in single-user mode (boot -s) with the same error.

Even booting from cdrom fails with a hardware error (although the long string of messages when

booting from cdrom loses the top of the screen for the original error)...

Any suggestions?

Thanks

What happens if you remove all PCI devices from slots 2, 3 & 4? Your 2nd PCI bus is having a problem - any device that starts with pci@1f,4000. See: http://sunsolve.Sun.COM/handbook_pub/Devices/System_Board/SYSBD_Ultra60.html

for a list of devices on bus B. Your PCI Psycho+ chip has 2 busses, A & B, and there is something amiss with B. If the Psycho+ chip is bad then you'll require a new system board.

ok show-devs should also give you an idea whats on pci@1f,4000 and you can try disconnecting these devices.

It turns out that a card (probably the Sun PCi card) was not seated properly on the board.I re-seated all of the cards and the machine booted OK!
