cannot create minor node

hello.

I have a 4500 that I installed multiple JNI 1063 sbus Fiber channel cards, in order to connect to an IBM ESS storage system.

myself being a bit of a newbie to solaris/unix, I am having difficulity with a perticular error that I see at boot.

'cannot create minor node for <fce> <jnic> <1>' .. etc for each card.

and 'cannot find clone devinfo node'..etc for each card.

Then just before the DT launch, the fas drivers appear to hang with resets and dmp commands. ( unit has two disk boards hung off of slot1 and 3.) I did put the jni cards on different bus's/acis with no change in error.

Although the cards/system seem to operate ok after OS is up.

any guideance would be appreaciated.
