smbsh from solaris 9 to XP

I recently re-installed XP on my workstation, and since then, I can no longer get from solaris9 to my XP machine with sbmsh. This is probably the wrong place to ask the question, but I can't find the answer anywhere else. Nothing was changed on the solaris/samba server side, and I've setup my user account the same as before the re-install on my XP machine. This seems to point to a problem on the XP side, but I was just hoping that maybe someone here may have any ideas for me. I've tried re-creating my user accounts on all 3 ends (samba, solaris, and xp) to no avail. I've removed all networking components and installed them again on xp. I even re-installed xp once again to see if maybe something unnoticable happened during the last install. I've tried it with solaris as the wins server and as a client. Both the nmbd and smbd processes are up and running with no problems. I've setup debugging as high as possible, but can't really understand what it's telling me to be perfectly honest. I know that I should probably direct this question to a samba forum, but I really prefer this one, and like I said, I was just hoping maybe someone else here had experience with smbsh. I love the remote functionality I can get with ssh and smbsh on my windows machine, and would really like to figure out what the heck the road block is. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give.

This could be the problem of domain. Which domain is your XP attached to .Is it the same as your solaris 9 or is it in a workgroup. If you want to add it to the domain . go to the properties of My comouter and change the domain or workgroup same as solaris 9

Yeah, I never setup a domain, so I configured samba using WORKGROUP. I tried changing windows to something else, then back to WORKGROUP again, but that didn't help. I'm sure it's some sort of authentication problem, but I don't know where. I also though that maybe there was a service that I needed to enable, but that really doesn't make sense becuase I can get to my Linux samba server and vise versa with no problems. It sure seems strange. Thanks for the reply though.
