Something very strange

Hi, Something very strange with my Netra1125, The problem is that after i input the username and pasword in CDE GUI, i have to wait a vveerryy long time ( about hours)to see the desktop, while i telnet the system everything is ok, My OS is Solaris7, and i have patched the latest recommend OS patch from sunsolve, Does somebody here encount such problem?

Hello,

Do you receive any messages when you log with telnet? Something about the home directory? Does the same happen when logging into CDE with the root account?

Something like you say occurs when users?homes aren齮 available, but when you telnet the machine it presents a message telling about the problem with the home. If you don齮 get any messages try to find if homes are there.
