Newb question: How do I change the welcome message for telnet

Hi, brand new to solaris on my x86. Someone changed my telnet welcome message (a freind) and won't tell me how they did it, so when I telnet to my machine or su from an xterm window, I get "Shane was here!"

I have searched thru the shell resource files, the .logins.. I think I am not looking at the big picture, so I starting looking for an issue.net or something along those lines, but I am unsuccessful.

Would someone point me in the direction I need to go?
