X25 link start/stop

I am using solstice X.25 9.2 on Solaris 8 machine. I would like to start and stop a link from an application (C++ code). Is this possible? I know that link can be started and stopped using x25tool. But I would like to have control over the link from my application.

Hi, I am looking for a comand line execution of the start and stop of links as you mention in X25tool.

I found in the bin directory linkstart and linkstop but they give me some errors as

<a href="mailto:root&#64;bgw21" target="_blank">root@bgw21</a>> cd /opt/SUNWconn/x25/bin/

<a href="mailto:root&#64;bgw22" target="_blank">root@bgw22</a>> ./linkstart 0

linkstart: ioctl failed (No such device)

r

Someone knows if is possible to start link via command line.
