Ultra 60 elite 3D keyboard
Hi,
I have a Ultra 60 Elite 3D (DIN-8 connector), and the reference manual says that only can be used with type-5 keyboard. Does this means that I can use any type-5 keyboard? Will type-5c work? Can be used any other keyboard?
Thanks a lot.

Glance at the publishing dates on those documents.

August 2001 ?
I don't think the type-6 keyboard or mouse even existed.
Since the U-60 soon went EOL at or about that 2001-2002 time, there was no reason to go backward and edit the documents.
Go ahead and use the miniDIN 5's and standard miniDIN 6's, whatever is available.

The miniDIN keyboards will all work with the Ultra-60.
You will not damage anything by using a different model.
The type-5 used DIP switches to configure it for your geographical locale language layout.
The type-5c used jumpers and DIP switches to configure it for the geographical locale.
The type-6 were hard-coded for various geographical locales
and you would purchase the appropriate 'Country Kit' ,
whichever might be needed (and will have the correct keycap labels in place).
