Hello,

have you checked the FC-AL cable at the rear of your system ? Even for the internal disks the external cable between the "Interface Board and the I/O+ Board" is required.

Sun Enterprise 3500 System Installation Guide (Part No. 805-2629-11), chapter 2.8, page 2-13ff

What does probe-fcal-all (issued at the ok-prompt) return ?

No disks detected, only the controllers !

Have you checked the FC-AL cable at the rear of your system ? Is it properly attached and the correct ports connected ?

If there is a spare one is available, try to replace it.
