Sun Ray 1g
Hi, does anyone know if Sun Ray 1g thin client supports resolution of 1600x1200@85Hz? The refresh rate of 85Hz is quite important, since lower refresh rates hurt my eyes on CRT monitors.
Thanks.

Hello Roman,
Do I have to pay if I want to contact Sun support?
Without a service contract, you will be charged for the support.
You can try to post on the SunRay mailing list or re-read the information m-lennon mentioned.

The 1g has a single-link DVI-I output. 1600x1200@85 is beyond the frequency specification for that interface. The highest refresh rate that the 1g will drive at 1600x1200 is 75Hz and it's hard up against the specification limits at that point. At 85Hz the largest it will go is 1280x1024.
If you need 1600x1200 and can't accept a 75Hz refresh then the only thing I can suggest is moving to an LCD instead of a CRT.
