Apple 30" Cinema Display

I have a Blade 1000 running Solaris 8 with the latest OpenGL software/patches and an XVR-1000 graphics card with the latest patches installed. What I'd like to do is run an Apple 30" Cinema Display as an extra monitor on the card.

The xserver seems to be real unhappy about having the gfb0b on the card and display 0 (SUN monitor) will only come up in command line mode. As soon as I remove the gfb0b from the Xservers file it comes up like normal.

Anyone with experience with the Apple display or suggestions, I'd like to hear from you. Thanks!

no first hand experience with either, but it looks like the frame buffer can't handle the resolution with 2 monitors... it says 2 monitors at 1280 x 1024.... I imagine you are trying to run it at 1920 x 1200, as the 2nd monitor? hmmm? haroldkarl

Yeah, but the option they suggest is so that you can have two monitors at different resolutions. yao
