Hello Rafid,

if you maintain any electronic catalogue for such cards please provide me with its link I will highly appreciate it.

These forums are user-to-user, not official Sun support.

With a SunSolve account you can review the non-public Sun System Handbook pages.

This is a link to the public part of the Sun System Handbook.

X3671ACreator3D Series 3 (FFB2+) 24-Bit Frame Buffer

X3678AExpert3D 24-Bit Color Frame Buffer

The manuals for most of these cards are available on docs.sun.com.

The first card (XVR-1200) is still available at the Sun store. The others are EOL.

To clarify Michael's reply a little more on a couple of points:

Detailed decriptions of these products can be found in the private version of the Sun System Handbook, you may access this information through your current support contract. If you do not have a contract you may purchase various support contracts from Sun.

The options that are currently EOL can be ordered through Sun's remanufacture program, these systems and options are available with an as new warranty and are orderable through your local sales office, catalogue or ibb listing.

Here is a link:

Not all of the parts you mentioned are listed here, but if you contact your local sales office or if you have a MySun account you can get a copy of the current Sun pricelist for your country. The local pricelist contains large numbers of systems and options that are available for order that are not currently listed in the local catalogue, Sun store or ibb listing.

Hello Martin,

first I suggested to contact Sun sales, but edited my post and searched for him in the SSH.

It's my impression that he just asks for the technical data of these options. That's why I have suggested to search docs.sun.com.

Michael, to be honest I was a bit confused because the term catalogue was used. Does this mean SSH or sales catalogue? Either way there is sufficient information for a purchase or support question.
