Netra Alarm Card

I have a Netra 1125.Running Solaris 10.

I was advised that the CPU board is the same as the Ultra 60.With that in mind, I purchased an audio card compatible with the Ultra 60, P/N 501-4155-03.

The audio card will only fit in one spot.Unfortunately something called an alarm card P/N 270-4669-04 already installed in that spot.If I remove the alarm card, the computer will not even turn on.Is there a jumper setting or other procedure that will allow me to remove the alarm card and put in the audio card?

Thanks.

Gary

What position are J3505 and J3506 jumpers at?

On both, going from left to right pins 1&2 are jumpered together.Pin 3 is open.

In order to see the jumpers, I had to remove the processor, video card, etc. When I put everything back in, the computer booted. When I plugged in the power cord

The jumpers are still in the default position.

The problem now is the power switch seems disabled.

The Netra is powering up with the audio card in place. The power switch seems disabled. I get an error /dev/audioctlcould not open stream to audio device. Is there a package I should add in Solaris 10?

OK, we are back to square 1.The netra will not boot with the audio card in place, and jumper J3505 and J3506 in the default setting. Any ideas?
