Compose LED

We are custom keyboard designers, and we manufacture a variety of Sun compatible Type 5 & 6 keyboards.

I need to test the function of the Compose LED on a USB keyboard, and have a Blade 100 running Solaris 9.

I can't get the Compose LED to light (even on a branded Sun keyboard), using this system. Do I need to configure anything for this to happen? Does the LED ever light on Sun systems when you press the Compose key?
