103346-30

I recently applied this update to our entrprise 3500 machine using the update-flash-30 as per the instrustions.

The flash update went Ok and OBP now return correct level.

However on trying to apply further patches with patch

manager it errors stating that patch 103346-30 is being added as a dependant patch but then fails as this cannot be run due to the installation rules.

Although the flash patch has been installed how do I get the machine to recognise this and stop trying to add it.

The patch does not appear in the listing of patchadd -p.

This is my first time doing this so any help would be appreciated.

I don't use patch manager myself, but I'd say it uses scripts to determine what operations to perform. Perhaps you could install the latest patch cluster manually or reconfigure patch manager ( rewrite part of the installation script ), I think this is a software related issue try the OS forum.

103346-30 is only a hardware patch for the firmware. so you should not have any issues. Sometimes patchmanager gets confused best solution dont use patchmanager and put the patches on manually
