No Login Prompt at Console

I am currently running an E450 server with Solaris 2.6 (I know....upgrade has not been feasible). I have an issue with one of the hard drives (36 GB) on an attached D1000 array. When I restart the server, I am not getting a login prompt at the console, but I can telnet into the system and work normally. There is another problem in that all of my mirrors (managed by Disksuite) are showing a need for metasync when I restart. I have never seen this issue before and was hoping that someone could point me in some direction here.
