Instant Image performance

Hi,

I am using II from Sun Availability suite for making snapshot. Everything about it's feature is fine,But only one problem is performance of my system used this software.

If I write file on my E3510 disk storage,I spend time about 14 minutes, But at the same size,I use only 5 minute on same volumn without II. It's about 3 time.Why dose performance decrease so much ?
