Your going to want to use RM6 to manage the hardware RAID capabilities most likely, unless you want to do it manually on the device. This doesn't serve as a replacement for VxVM however. How you manage the storage is your choice. You could use the T3's ability to create single hardware volumes accross multiple arrays using RM6, etc. Or you could create 3 RAID5 LUNs (one per array) and then manipulate them using VxVM.
Anyway.... I think most admins would agree, if you have the ability, use both. (But everything depends on your circumstances, which are unique. Use your best judgement.)
RM6 manages A1000, A3000, A3500, and A3500FC devices. Not T3s. Use something like StorADE to manage the T3 errors, logs, etc.
