booting from the mirored disk

Hai,

I used the following command to install bootprogram on mirror disk, after creating all metadevices.

#installboot /usr/platform/SUNW,Ultra-4/lib/fs/ufs/bootblk /dev/rdsk/c4t3d0s0

ok nvalias mirror /pci@6,4000/scsi@4/sd@3,0:a

SUNW,Ultra-4 is the system architecture

mirror is the alias name given to the disk c4t3d0s0, which is going to used as mirror to OS.

After this I tried using as below

ok boot mirror

but it is stating can't open boot device.

Thanks in advance

Sridhar

In the nvalias commond, some one have suggest the "sd" keyword should be "disk" keyword,I follow and it work fine. You can try it too.
