Introduction to our Moderator

Donald D. Crouse is now serving Sun as a Systems Engineer. He was one of the founders of LSCI and has served many functions as well as being President & CEO until 1992.

He remained a Director on the board and served LSCI in several

management and technical positions from 1992 through 2001.

In 1988 and 1989, Mr. Crouse participated in advanced development work for the development of supercomputer I/O systems at Cray Research, Inc where LSCI was a sub-contractor.

Mr. Crouse served as a technical consultant, support engineer, and electronic data processing specialist at Control Data Corporation from 1965 to 1985.

He has been a very strong voice on many standards still in use today.
