How can I let other machine use the SAN?

Hi, guys,

I have installed the SE 6120 on one server, which is working as a host, and I can see the disk array information on this host by using format command.

But, how can I let another server use this storage? Do I need to install the SAN Foundation Software in this server?

What need I do?

thanks a lot!

You have to have an HBA in the system. You have to have teh SAN software installed. You have to be connected to the switch that is connected to the 6120.You have to have a LUN available on the 6120 and masked to the host.

Actaully, I have done all of these. But, about the SAN software, I have installed on the host, and I want to know if I have to install on other servers?

Here is the information about the 6120, and the host. What else I need to do on other servers besides the host?

Here is the information I got from the host.

Any host that requires access to the 6120 must be running the SAN software. It also has to have physical access to the 6120.
