6320 health status

I have just installed a 6320 system. The installation is done and all the volumes are up and running. I'm able to see the volumes from different hosts using LUN masking.

However the overall health status is shown as DEGRADED. Why is this?

The other thing is that some pools have a status of online, verifying whereas others are online, ready.

Please explain and point out any problems I may face as a result of this.

Thank you

When you login you should see a link that says "Click here to figure out what's wrong" or something like that....sorry...don't have the exact verbiage in front of me.

You can then go into the SP software and look at the alerts. Clearing them, but taking note of what's not right, should clear the degraded status.

Its simple. You have login to your SSP (Storage Automated Diagnostic Enviornment) and clear all Alerts and warning. Probably the one which is showing are the old ones.i think the default https port for SADE is 7443 ibeleive.
