T3 Password

Good Day,

I just took over admining 4 T3's , one of them has a password, the others I can login

as root and passord is the return key. I've hit return to prevent booting the array and at

the T3 prompt I issue the set passwd command. I've issue'd reset and boot to the T3,

When in comes up it still seems to want the old password out on the array.

Do I need to use some variable with the reset or boot to get it to write the new password

to the array. I guess I'm wondering how to reset the T3 to default password of return key.

Thank-you.

Setting T3 variables at EP level is not persistent. You need to log in to the T3 when it's running in RAID level and set the password using the 'passwd' command.BTW, using the serial port for this is only supposed to be for service personnel only :-)--A.
