3510 connected to Brocade Silkworm 2800

I am looking for a simple replacement for our current SAN array. We currently have an EMC 3930 with Brocade Silkworm 2800 switches utilizing 1 gig GBIC's. Our business needs have changed and we no longer need the large expense of the EMC. We would like to integrate our existing switches with a 3510 and I was concerned as to whether the 3510 would work with 1 gig cards. Does anyone know if the 3510 will work with 1 gig cards?
