Brocade 3200, A5100 and SBus FC card connectivity

Hi,

I have a Brocade 3200 SAN switch with SFPs installed, an A5100 with 2 GBICs installed and 2 FC Sun Sbus cards installed in a sun server. I like to know what type of fiber channel cables I need to connect them. I know there is an LC and an SC but which ones I need here.

The Brocade Silkworm uses LC (Lucent) connectors. They are the small form-factor plugs. You failed to mention what HBA you're using on the host. Just look at the HBA. If it has a big receptacle, that's the SC (Sycore) connector. You can get cable with both LC-LC, SC-LC and SC-SC.
