Ultrascsi Storage Multipack - can't open
I have a sun Ultra 10 with Ultrascsi Storage Multipack.
On the back of the same I can read the PN : 599-2235-01 and SN: 810G3036.
I am trying to install and to read the content of 2 HDs Quantum VK 4550S Viking 3.5 series 4200 SCSI (VK45JZF1), I cannot lose the content of
these HDs.
My controller is situated at c1. There appears to be all the drivers needed in /dev/dsk and /dev/rdsk (and /devices), yet upon boot I find:
/dev/dsk/c1t1d0sX:
mount:I/O error
mount: Can't open /dev/dsk/c1t1d0sX
/dev/rdsk/c1t1d0sX:
mount:/dev/dsk/c1t1d0sX no Such device
Doing fsck /dev/dsk/c1t1d0s0 just gets me another Can't open
Doing fsck /dev/dsk/c1t2d0s0 just gets me another Can't open
Doing boot:
probe-scsi-all: don't find disks
show-disks
drive type unknown
Another manufacturer disks don't have problem
