QLogic HBA config?
We've setup a v880 with 2 sun badged qlogic 2g hba's, fully patched the server, and connected it to a mcdata 4500 switch which also has a hitachi 9570 connected to it.
We've sucessfully configured to 9570, created raid groups, luns, formatted luns and presented them to the controller etc, but we cannot seem to get the v880 to recognise the luns as an unknown disk etc.
We have also seen two ways of configureing the sd.conf file, which we have in place using both the wwn and target lun way of searching.
has anyone had experiance of this kind of problem, and if so then what did you do to correct it?
the sun(qlogic) hba's are the sg-xpci1fc-qf2 as in the url below,

were runninig solaris 8, veritas volume manager 4 and have switched off suns multipathinng software(mxio?).
can anyone help?
