Hi, All .. Can some one please clarify or suggest me some docs which speaks about controller, target, disk ... iam getting some confusion between taregt and a disk... also what is LUN and how do i define it

A target is generally the SCSI ID of the device.
In the terms of cxtydzc = controller number,t = target number and generally d = LUN number (or 0 where there is no concept of a LUN)
A LUN is a logical unit which is part of a target - the definition is either set in hardware or via the management software for the hardware array.
