Driver problem?

Ok, I齧 having this problem and I齧 not sure what it is. I齰e connected a L25 to a V1280 and when I probe-scsi-all, I can see it. BUT after doing a boot 齬, the device doesn齮 show up in /devices. I also did devfsadm & drvconfig/tapes to no avail. Below it what I have as output from the above.

<ok> probe-scsi-all

/ssm@0,0/pci@19,700000/pci@1/scsi@5

Target 0

Unit 0 Removable Medium Changer M4 DATA Magfile 3.06

Target 1

Unit 0 Removable Tape HP Ultrium 1-SCSI E31F

<ok> boot 齬

When I loaded the Solstice backup software, I saw the following:

Legato SCSI pass through driver configured and loaded

Legato optical driver configured ?will be loaded at next boot

I rebooted but still not tape device.

I齧 not sure if I齧 missing a driver for the changer/robot or what.

Thanks,

Bert

PS. This is my hardware

V1280 --> PCI dual channel Ultra-3 differential SCSI host adapter --> L25 (LTO LVD base unit

The drive is LTO gen 1 LVD SCSI drive

The SCSI cable is 4-meter 68pin to VHDC differential Ultra SCSI cable.

You will need to add the drivers for the SCSI-3 card. You can get them www.sun.com/downloads (Sun StorEdge PCI Dual Ultra3 SCSI Host Adapter v1.0)
