A1000 and StorEdge 3310

Hi ALL:

does anybody know is it possbile to connect A1000 and 3310 SCSI with RAID controller in chain ?

Actually I have two SunFire V480 servers one of which has X6541A Ultra SCSI DIF Card installed and linked up to A1000 and other server with X6758A Dual-Channel Ultra3 Differential SCSI installed and linked up to StorEDGE 3310 SCSI with single RAID controller. So the question is will this configuration work if I connect A1000 and 3310 in chain to make both storages available through SCSI for the servers ?

If you're asking if these 2 arrays can be on the same SCSI bus, the answer is no. The A1000 uses High Volatage Differential (HVD) and the 3310 uses Low Voltage Differential or Single Ended (LVD/SE). They are not compatible with each other.
