I'have purchased SotrEdge D1000 for 220r Enterprise server.
I want to know the options through which I can add this to my system for optimized use.
Do I need any third party software or need to purchase any software from Sun to use the system or any inbuilt tool would work for me?
Any body have any sample configuration or link for the same, please forward that.

The D1000 is just like a multipack, only bigger and better for redundancy. The only choices you have to make are;
Do you want one/two system(s) to see all twelve disks or do you want a system to see six disks on one path and six on another, this would give you the possibility to mirror your six disks against each other to give redundancy. You would still have a single point of failure in the backplane, but then again, it was not sold as Fault Tolerant :-)
You do not really need any purchased software as Solaris comes with SDS (or whatever the name on your version of Solaris is), however if this doesn't meet your criteria then Veritas would be the next best bet.
Nothing else I can think of unless you want to set up a cluster in which case you will need another system, some form of cluster software, a good action plan and plenty of time for testing.......
