We have a D1000 disk array already configured with 8 x 9GB disks. We need to add more space and are about to order 2 x 18GB disks. Is there any problem with mixing disks of differentsizes within a D1000 array?All the bestPeter Wickett

Since this is "Just a Box Of Disks" there should be no problem mixing drive sizes. Due consideration will have to be given if using any type of mirroring software, Veritas, DiskSuite, etc.. jds2n at 2007-7-5 18:02:03 >
