I am also trying to install patch 112126-06 on my sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-80 running 5.8 Generic_108528-17. The patch is suspending becuase of checkinstall issues.
I am trying to use the A1000 software raid capability, and RAID manager 6.22.1 seesm to
require this patch. Can anyone give some tips to discover what the checkinstalkl issue may be?
Thanks. - Jesse

you should definitely see the disks at the OK prompt probe

this is correct, if you don't have a diff SCSI adapter in the U10, you won't be able to see the A1000 (or the disks.

when the patch fails (due to checkinstall issues or whatever) it should tell you where to find a log of the failure. generally, the logfile is in /var/sadm/patch/112126-06/log
