SYM22802 in V20z?

I have some old SYM22802 LVD SCSI cards I pulled out of some 220Rs - will one of these work in my V20z?

the card isn't listed on the web site:

http://sunsolve.sun.com/handbook_pub/Systems/SunFireV20z/com ponents.html#SCSI

are they Sun branded?

Hello Phil,

I have some old SYM22802 LVD SCSI cards I pulled out of some 220Rs - will one of these work in my V20z?

Probably yes. I have no experience with PCI-X. The card is not listed, because it's too old and slow (40MB versus U320). The X4422A is a Dual GigabitEthernet / Dual SCSI PCI Adapter and works in the V20z.

One last note: The SYM22802 is HVD SCSI (High Voltage Differential), which is incompatible with LVD or SE SCSI.

The SYM22801 is SE SCSI.
