Can't connect to 3510 (administration)
I get no reply from our 3510 with ssconsole or ssdgrptui.
I can telnet and sccli to the unit, the server (V240 running Solaris 9) I'm trying from is on the same subnet and even has mounted the 3510 as a fibre channel storage.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, the documentation regarding setting up the diagnostic reporter and/or the configuration service just keep referring to a document called "Sun StorEdge 3000 Family Diagnostic Reporter User齭 Guide", which is as far as I can see not in Sun's documentation library - at least I can't find it.
I realise this problem can have something to do with firmware or some module/agent on the 3510 not turned on, sccli tells me that:
<a href="mailto:root@skuld" target="_blank">root@skuld</a>:/# >sccli storedge3510

The diagnostic reporter for instance, just times out and tells me that the unit may be down. And its service seems to be, the server list configuration tells me it wants to use port 7409, but the unit do not answer on that port:
<a href="mailto:root@skuld" target="_blank">root@skuld</a>:/# >telnet storedge3510 7409
Trying 99.99.99.99...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection timed out
<a href="mailto:root@skuld" target="_blank">root@skuld</a>:/# >ping storedge3510
storedge3510 is alive
Can anybody shed some light on what's wrong?
By the way, the services ssserver , ssdgrptd and ssmon are running on the V240.
In advance, thank you.
