Thanks for the reply

Yes i am talking about Windows Active directory Service integration with NAS 5210.

Using the configuration wizard when i select NIS all the user, host, netgroup database is downloaded to NAS and i can see the users when trying to define quotas.

But when i am trying to configure the Windows environment with Window 2000 as the Domaint Controller with ADS, the user database is not seen in NAS 5210. I have as for the steps given in the manual like time adjustment with Domain controller and NAS i.e., 5 min. DNS concifugration. But still i am not able to integrate.

Please login to Sun System handbook and read the InfoDoc #82792 and confirm all these procedures have been used.

Yes i have gone through the Docs 82792 referred by you before posting this problem on SUn Forums.

I have followed the procedure described in the doc. But users database is not getting imported from ADS to NAS.

When i do a telnet look for DNS entries it is showing the DNS entries of all the systems in the network that means it is getting registered with DNS.

I am not able to figure out what is problem with the Users database.
