Solaris10 A5000 w/x6729a HBA on E450

Hi,

I am trying to get a A5000 to be recognized in solaris10.

I have a e450 with a x6782a HBA.

<a href="mailto:&#91;root&#64;stimpy" target="_blank">[root@stimpy</a> ~]# luxadm probe

No Network Array enclosures found in /dev/es

No FC devices found.

Yet..

>show-devs lists my HBA as

/<a href="mailto:pci&#64;4" target="_blank">pci@4</a>,2000/SUNW,<a href="mailto:ifp&#64;1" target="_blank">ifp@1</a>

>select <above>

>show-childrenlists all of the a5000 nodes

The A5000's GBIC(A0) is listed as 'online'

Did you add all these devices after the OS was installed? Have you read through the installation documentation for the HBA? Also can you confirm it is a X6729A ( there's a conflict between the post heading and the content/body x6782a ).

That's it... product home page in the handbook links to the HBA installation guide, which outlines the required driver packages and patches etc.
