Does anybody know, where to get MIB files for SUN storage devices (in particular, StorEdge 3510) ? My company have a few 3510, and as long as I'm is a developer and maintainer of "self-made" monitoring system for all network, power, storage & other devices and servers, I want to include support for monitoring SUN storage devices in it.

I think you'll need to contact Sun directly, most MIBs come with network management applications like Sun StorEdge Enterprise Storage Manager, StorADE and other SNMP applications. I would also think that MIBs associated with a Sun storedge product are not available. For example a search through the Spectrum and Internal SunSolve turns up MIBs for SUNWstade and QFS-SAMFS etc. software products or 6120 and T3B firmware patches only.

a few days ago a subscriber of the Sunmanagers list lost his "patience" and posted a checklist about the resources to consult <b>before</b> posting on the Sunmanagers list. This was due to the increasing number of inappropriate posts.
The Sunmanagers list is for <b>timecritical</b> problems.
These forums are <b>not</b> offical Sun Support, all contributors just volunteer.
I did a google search (substitute your favorite search machine) with the query "MIB +StorEdge", the third hit was a site that offered MIBs for free.
It's really recommended to research before posting on these forums.
