Page Number formatting on Table of Contents

Hi,

I have formatted the page numbers on my long document in the following:

1) Preliminary pages, including Table of Contents (TOC) in roman numerals (i, ii, iii, etc), and

2) Main document body in Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, etc).

On the TOC, page numbers on main document body is alright. However, Preliminary pages, which should be in roman numerals turned out as Arabic numerals!

I gone through the whole application to try to solve this formatting problem but to no avail.

Please help.

Thank you.

Assumption - your preliminary matter uses a page style named "First" and the body uses "Default".

In the Stylist modify the First page style. On the Page tab select the numbering type in the lower right Format box.

You probably have already done so but to start the body with "1" put your cursor in the first paragraph of the body, do Format > Paragraph > Test Flow tab and in the Breaks section check With Page Style and set the number on the right.
