First set up StarOffice to associated your Outlook database.
1) With StarOffice Writer open; select File > Wizards > Address data source
2) Select Outlook address book
3) Select Next
4) Give it a name or accept the default
5) Accept the default check mark to make it available to all StarOffice suite
6) Click finish
To use it within a StarOffice document:
1) With StarOffice Writer open on a blank document, select View> Data Sources
2) Expand the Addresses > Tables view
3) Click on OP Contacts (or other name as appropriate)
4) Highlight the record you wish to include in the document
5) Drag & drop the record to your document which will launch another wizard
6) Insert data as text
7) Move fields within the wizard as appropriate. E.g.,
<First Name> <Last Name>
<Address1>
<Address2>
<City> <State> <Zip/postal>

Thanks. I tried it but having selected File > Wizzard > Address data source
selected Outlook address book
selected next I am gettingthe error message that a MAPI aadress book ( Outlook ) does not exist.
This is not true as I have in Ouutlook numerous addresses.
Any idea ?
