Document Converter not starting in SO8

Hi,

I just made a fresh installation of SO8 and wanted to convert my SO7 templates. However when I try to start the document converter via menu nothing happens - no window appears, no error, just ignoring the click! Any hint what's going on or how to debug?

running Win XP, SO8 fresh install, "old" SO7 in different diectory

Have you installed the Java runtime. I'm not sure, if it's needed.Have you started a Standard template from within the Quickstarter?

Java (1.5.0_05) is installed and active

starting standard templates works

Close the started standard template or open it in menu file.If you start a standard template from within the quickstarter some wizard will not start. This doesn't happen with normal templates.
