SO8 Impress : anti-aliasing disabled in slide show

Hello,

I have SO7 and SO8 on Windows XP. During a slide show, texts are pretty with SO7 but they are ugly with SO8. It seems that anti-aliasing is disabled by default during a SO8 slide show. This problem has been reported during SO8-beta evaluation.

I did not find any anti-aliasing switch in the tools-options menu, but a possible workaround is to set an animation on all text objects. The anti-aliasing is enabled after the animation has been performed.

I hope that a future SO8 patch will restore the default anti-aliasing as in SO7.

Info for developpers :

Anti-aliasing disabled in slide show mode when there is no animation on text objects is a problem of the SO8 Windows version.

The same presentation tested in slide show mode with SO8 Linux gives always pretty smooth text.
