Text problems in 800x600 resolution

Having recently installed star office 8 onto our school network we have discovered quite a major problem with the impress software.

When a slideshow is created on a windows 98 workstation the text is displayed ok in the design view, but when the slide show is run, the text either goes off the top of the screen, or is not displayed at all.

Are you aware of this problem?

I have tried the same experiment on a windows xp workstation, which seems to work ok.

Can you please help? As we have lots of unhappy teachers and students!

Thanks

I feel a little foolish now!

Under closer investigation i have discovered that the problem isn't with the windows version, it is the screen resolution. It's mostly fine at 1024x768, but not at 800x600.

On some of the workstations when the resolution is changed the text is still off the top of the screen even if re-installed with the higher resolution, but with others it rights it's self straight away.

But the ones that right themselves are running 15" CRT monitors so are quite difficult to see at 1024x768.

Can anyone help?

Ben

Changing the resolution and/or the vertical frequency of a monitor often requires a new setting of width and height.
