Just installed Staroffice 8 and I was used to tabsin So7 along the bottom of the slides that allowed me to select the next few slides. These seem to be missing and there does not seem to be an easy way to go to the next slide.
How do I turn these tabs on.

I came here to post the same question. How do I move forward in the slides? (without being in the slide show, take over my screen, mode)
I've never used PowerPoint so comparing to PowerPoint doesn't work for me.
I did find that I can hit "page down" on my keyboard to move forward. But I too miss the forward and backward arrows that used to be at the bottom of the slide view.
The only way I can get the slide icons to show up in the left is to click "outline." Then I can click one of the icon slides, but it won't show up until I click "normal." But when I click "normal," the slide icons disappear.
This seems like a dis-improvement over the last version.
