Changing Read Only Status?

I am new to StarOffice. Thanks to help from others, I was able to import a .csv file into a database, but it is read only and I cannot figure out how to change that status - changing the source file's status does not seem to help and the Edit on/off button does not allow me to change existing data.

Additionally, any good sources of online information regarding how best to format this information as a printed report would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

Open your spreadsheet and do a Save As to dBase format. Register the file's directory as a data source and you will find you can edit it went you open a doc, do F4 and open your table.

If you don't like the way the report wizard formats things try this thread. <a href="http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=19754" target="_blank">http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=19754</a& gt;

You can do more sofisticated formatting but it takes a bit more effort.
