Solve disk error problem on solaris 10x86 install - h5530

OK, let's go, first, solaris 10X86 works on an packard bell H5530 (and i think on older versions to), if we consider that 640*480 is enough for a resolution.

to install it (and to understand how to avoid kernel/unix error), i have to enter in the boot twice, the first time to make the cdrom the first boot item, the second time for the HD, but i had to let the DVD inside the DVD-rom reader.

I had problems with a disk read error. I don't understand why but solaris seems not to start himself. I solve the problem by pressing enter at the boot.

Is that an intermittent "short read" error reported after the boot prompt?

I was reported on the solarisx86 mailing list today, that a bug fix for this

problem is being worked on. see:
