Installing Solaris 8 on an Ultra 10

I am trying to install Solaris 8 on an Ultra 10 I got. It had a blank harddrive, a vga port and a 13w3 port. Looks ready to rock and roll.

I downloaded and burned the sparc iso, at a nice slow speed, powered it up, put the CD in the drive and held down stop-a but I get no signal. I tried an old DEC monitor and a new Dell LCD screen but nothing.

Am I doing something wrong or should I try the big monitor with the 13w3 connector to see if that is the issue?
