Install Solaris 2.5

I have a Sunfire V240 that I have been asked to install Solaris 2.5 on. I have only installed Solaris 8 and it has been a while. From some research, it seems that 2.5 may be too old to support the hardware in a Sunfire V240. Is this correct? Thanks
