CD Not Found? Please Help!

I recently downloaded solaris 10. I downloaded it directly to my CD burner to which I then burned it. I then changed my boot priority on my computer to CD then Harddrive.

Here's the problem:

Nothing happens.

Did I need to uncompress it before hand? I didn't think it would fit on a CD uncompressed. My friend says I might need a special program to unzip the ISO file. But if I did why wouldn't the documentation say that and how would I run that program from the harddrive if I boot CD first?

I keep reading about gathering/setting up the media. Have I skipped a step?

The closest thing I can get to it reading the CD is an error message that reads NTLDR not found, press control + alt + delete to restart. Thanks.

EDIT: As it turns out I burned the ISO using window xp's built in burner. If I read correctly winXP's built in cd burner doesn't burn ISO files right. So I need to download MagicISO that ROXIE program or use NERO right? Will that fix it? Please help, thanks.

Use the forum search function.keywords ISO + softwareThere are many, many discussion threads on this topic. Some of the postings mention freeware or shareware.(I happen to own Roxio, and it just works when I double-click the ISO file.)
