Hi,
I could be able to upgrade solaris 9 to solaris 10 with live updae,
Its asking me to uninstall Solaris 9 LU and install solaris 10 LU in order to proceed.
Am i missing some thing. Please help.

You need to install the Live Upgrade packages for the Solaris level you are installing. The installer has always been release dependent.
use:
'pkgrm SUNWluu SUNWlur'
to uninstall the Solaris 9 LU and
'pkgadd -d {/package/directory} SUNWlur SUNWluu'
to install the Solaris 10 version.
