Jumpstart V240 still Prompting for Lang.

Trying to jumpstart V240 from a SunBlade 100 jumpstart server and the v240 boots but still prompts for Language. The SunV240 has Hardware watchdog and a firmware password. Not sure whether those two things will stop an automated non-interactive install or not. The sysidcfg file listing is:

system_locale=en_US

timezone=US/Eastern

timeserver=localhost

terminal=vt100

network_interface=primary {netmask=255.255.255.0 protocol_ipv6=no}

security_policy=NONE

root_password=************

name_service=NONE

The add_install_client: add_install_client -c jumpstart1:/jumpstart -p jumpstart1:/jumpstart test1 sun4u

The system boots and still prompts for language and locale. Can anyone please help. I am trying Solaris 8 image now.

Thanks Ahead Time!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

I had the same problem some weeks ago, but my system language was German.

Did you take an image of the whole languages CD too?Or did you only select the language packages you needed?

I had to choose all language packages to get it work.

I know this sounds strange, but for some reason it needs all language packages.
